95% of Division 12 believe it is important to retain Burleigh's village character (GCB 19/3/04). A local survey showed that 98% of Div'n 12 want Australand's B H Hotel development kept to 7 storeys, yet our Council has decided that Australand can go to 15 storeys. Ratepayers would like to know how many times Australand have applied for relaxations and how often the applications are successful. Unfortunately, such information is not available to ratepayers.
